Summer Babes

During the first year of the pandemic, as lockdown stretched into the summer, I began a digital series of drawings of women finding joy in their own company. I wanted to reframe the loneliness of isolation as pleasant solitude.
Babes for Choice
Because I loved the vibe that the Summer Babes struck of women and non-binary folks unapologetically going about their lives I began to expand the series. In the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade I did a small collection of Babes for Choice. 100% of the profits from the sales of items with these images go to Planned Parenthood.
Holiday Babes
Inspired by some mid-century photos of women sporting wild Christmas hair-dos, in 2024 I did a series of Holiday Babes
